Notice: Locking of Large Off-Topic threads

Starting immediately,

We are going to automatically lock all threads in any of the Off-Topic forums (including Off-Topic sub forums) that have more than 2000 posts in them.

This is to try to help out the site

Sorry but those few large threads were causing a lot of the load.

No time like now to become a member so we can afford to buy a bigger db server in the future.
