I will order stuff thru my father-in-law ( he lives out of state )for my two sons. California's laws are stricter than the Federal laws. There is some talk of a law suit to force California to follow the federal law but it appears weak on the surface.

Check with your local gun store for the final word depending on your locale. They must know and abide by the law in effect locally.

We promote the image of gangs and earthquakes to keep people out of our state. Go to or live in a crappy part of town and maybe gangs will be a issue. By and large not a big deal, I added a Smith & Wesson 500 revolver to my collection let one round fly from that gun and you have no worries from gangs. The whole ban thing is pretty stupid. Anything and I mean anything can be secured provided you have the resources and connections. Not really a difficult thing to do.

Don't get the Tec-9. That thing is a jam-o-matic. If you want a quality gun that looks similar, look into an HK SP89 which you can convert into an HK MP5K or PDW.
