Default Now that Napster is nearly useless . . .

Where can we get our music? I know there are other similar sites but are any as well subscribed as Napster? What about ease of use, copyright issues etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks for the web site tip. Napster won't let you download anything good anymore.

I've found that Limewire works really well and allows you to get and share all kinds of media files including movies, audio, even programs! Its really great, I just downloaded an episode of Seinfeld

Limewire is just a pretty interface for gnutella, for the record. It is good but not great - if you are patient and work at it, you can find anything on it (the gnutella network) though.

Audiogalaxy is also nice, but the anti-napster crowd (*cough* bastards *cough*) are working their magic there too. Many 'popular' artists aren't downloadable unless the hosts misspelled the song title.

I use Kazaa now, it's kinda like what the Scour exchange used to be like.
Let me grab the link, duh, can't find it. go to downloads.com and dl the interface.
It's "almost as good as Napster was.

Bearshare. It's a very good gnutella client. Easy to set up, too.

I've found every song I've wanted to look for. You can get movies, images, etc. too

try www.musiccity.com

It's just like napster but you can download everything. Documents, pics, videos, and even software. I mainly use it for audio and video.

I love it. The program is actually called Morpheus.
