If I'm not a mathematician I'm, at least, a smart-aleck.

Interesting. I've always wondered if all of the equations and mathematical statements they make are true. Whenever there is a medical scene on tv and I'm watching it with my dad (who is a doctor), he always points out all of the mistakes they make

They have mathematical consultants from Cal Tech, so the math is accurate.

What is, at best, far-fetched, is the idea that one mathematician can be expert in all the diverse areas that Charlie uses in his analyses. (So is the speed with which he develops and implements algorithms.)

Hey! It's a TV show, and they only have an hour....well actually 41 minutes. Holy Shit, Batman Hollywood has figured out how to compress time.. 99.9% of the people watching have probably forgotten how to count back change.

tv is all about ratings and journalistic inteh=grity gets a back seat to showing us some neato crap that we cant explain...

anybody see that john of god special they did on dateline. they could have easily disproven most of his claims, but it was more provocative TV to leave it a mystery.

how exactly did they relate the HUP to how people act? i am not really seeing the relationship.

and i thought for the HUP for electrons, you can know the exact location of the electron at any given time, but you can't know what energy level/orbital the electron is in because the orbitals overlap and vice versa.

maybe i am just tired.
