NYPD Blue vs CSI - ?
After watching NYPD Blue last night, i started thinking about the differences in the way they do things vs the way CSI Miami (never seen any of the other CSI shows) does things
They both solve similar crimes (mostly murder)..... on CSI they do all that crap with finding small particals of human hair and blood on a shirt that has been washed 200 times, look at the way the moon's angle was reflecting off the water on that particular night, etc......
On NYPD Blue they shove the suspect against the wall, lie to the suspect that their buddy is rolling over on them, and the people confess to the crime. They have never done anything scientific other than a some spit analysis maybe on 2 shows.
Maybe the CSI guys should take a lesson from Sipowitz?

In the real world, the NYPD Blue crap would get cases tossed out of court on a regular basis. Coercion is just not looked upon in a very friendly light in court. Pesky llittle ideas like due process and the right to cousel and the right to not incriminate oneself, you know, the Bill of Rights.
