o_O response from ebay seller
So I'm looking to purchase a wireless headset on ebay and inquired about the condition of this set because it wasn't obvious if it was new or refurbished. This is the exact set that I want, so I didn't bother looking through the technical details that were obviously copied and pasted from the manufacturer's website.

I asked the seller if it was new or refurbished, to which he replies:
It was a "Are you serious?" moment. I went back and searched "refurbished" only to find it worded in amongst the tech details. Granted it was stated, but so? What happened to the days when the customers are always right? I may have made fun of a customer's stupid question while chatting with co-workers, but I've always practiced patience when dealing with uninformed customers. I decided to look up their website (http://www.dakmart.com) and emailed back:
I'm not sure why I'm so ticked off by this, but I'd like for this kid to feel some sort of consequence for his words. What do the best revenge artists on this forum think? I've read some of the craziest revenge plans right here, i.e. NFRs2000NYC's friend being defrauded and tracking the kid down and getting him arrested (great read).

I asked the seller if it was new or refurbished, to which he replies:
"Dear alxboi,
we have had to block you, since you cannot read words.....please feel fre to shop elsewhere
thanks again

"Hi. I inquired to ebay item 380107172296's condition (refurbished/new) last night. At quick glance, I didn't see anything obvious stating so. I now see that's stated in small print amongst the technical jargon. The email I received replies:
"From: eBay Member: dakmart (member@ebay.com)

Needless to say, I will not be purchasing from DAKmart. I am interested in knowing how many other obnoxious and unprofessional emails this particular employee sends. I'd hate to see one bad employee hurting a business during these times. I just wanted to bring this poor excuse for customer service to your attention. Thank you and have a great day."

Dude, this is Ebay, not Wal-Mart. Look at the feed back. With the volume that this guy does and the number of complaints that he already has, I assure you that he absolutely does not care what you think or if you are offended. Get over it already.
Buyer beware. I always read the full description and research the seller as best I can before I buy anything on Ebay, no matter how bad I might want it or how close to ending it is.

Dear alxboi,
we have had to block you, since you're incompetent in producing a thread worthwhile in this forum.....please feel free to post elsewhere
thanks again

I'm j/k. Seriously though I feel you. I would be upset as well. It was completely uncalled for. Chances are that is was a refurbished item. Better that you didn't purchase it.

Glad to have your support, guys. For the peeps saying "get over it, it's ebay": I would have if I didn't see that they are in fact a large retailer in Florida. This particular employee deals with live customers all the time with the same attitude. Anyway, I slept it off. This matter is of no concern to me anymore.
...You're swell
