Off Topic - EJ has a new job (Mortgage Banker)
Hey all - I posted this in the Mid-Atlantic forum and got an overwhelming response. Thought I would put it here too.
I wanted to let you all know I've decided to stop being a lawyer and do something productive with my life. I recently accepted a position with Bank of America as a mortgage banker. It is going to be a lot of fun and I will be working with a very good friend of mine who has been nagging me to join him for years. I am located in Bethesda, MD but I can work with just about anyone across the country.
So - if you're interested in buying a home, purchasing investment property, or refinancing the existing the one you have now (rates are pretty ow), don't hesitate to contact me.
Here's my new e-mail address (or just PM me) -

Funny - a friend of mine was at DC OCC a few years ago; worked on DC's contribution to the Microsoft anti-trust case. He learned a lot and met some great people. PM me and let's see if we can get together while you are still here in DC. What school are you attending? DC internships are a great way to meet people.
Many of my friends from school are in DC law firms; while they are doing well financially, their quality of life isn't all the best (to make an understatement). To be honest, I can't beleive how much fun (and how lucrative) this job is. I wish I had done it years ago.
