Sort of inspired by Mindcore...

For those who are balding or have gone bald, are you upset and worried over losing hair? Have you ever considered hair transplant? Used other hair loss treatments? Successful, unsuccessful? Positives and negatives of those treatments (incl. transplants)?

Here's a thread to discuss about hair loss, for people may gain insights and help they may be seeking for.

 

hahahaha, bad day in the stock market making ya yank your hair out? i'm down today, but not too big as i was mostly cash waiting for my settlement period, i may stay that way for a while.

why, you losin it? try rogaine, isn't that supposed to work.

If i ever went bald i wouldn't try to cover it up.It's a natural fact of life...it happens...

Don't feel bad boys! I'm 23, I've got the receding hairline already. My brother has gone far worse than just recede. If you had a look at Mindcore's pic "before", my 26 year old brother looked more fading (hairwise at least ) at 24. As much as I pay attention to my hair running away from my eyes, it really honestly doesn't bother me.

The wonderful thing is, women are SO much more accepting of less-than wonderful things about guys. We have such much that is disgusting about us, that our hair is about #15 on the list.

Anyway, I know this isn't a "convince me it's not so bad" thread so I'm gonna move on to saying that I am about 6 months from shaving my head to get a feel for how the bald me will feel. If you make the progression to buzzed before nature makes you "buzzed" then people don't seem to have the same judgmental look on the lack of hair as when it's forced

i worried about hair for too many years. shaved it all off 2 yrs ago. one of the best things i ever did, next to lasik.

 

I would shave it all off or just buzz what I had down really close. I'm not balding but I am greying a little at 25

 

It's only hair...I don't worry about it. Never thought about any type of restoration.

 

I am 37.25 and have about a 5 head...... i am starting to get the Johnny Mcnroe / David Letterman look........ not horrible but definatly less hair than I had 15 years ago...... no bald spot in the back which is good!

My old man was pretty bald at age 30 so I am ahead of him....
