Plate Tectonics FAIL. . .
the plates are moving north/south. . . that's right, in 10,000 years, San Francisco and Los Angeles will be twin cities.
Then we'll be really unstoppable. . . so long as we get our supply of Soylent Green.
Yea the left lane cruisers are ridiculous here in ohio, not to mention the countless people who seem incapable of getting up to highway speed before merging onto the highway from on-ramps.
I was driving home from the gym today, doing about 73-74 mph in a 65 mph zone, which is a typical speed...came up quick on this guy in the left lane, ended up slowing down to 61 mph behind this guy with a big pick-up barreling down the road behind me...guy finally got over after about 1.5 miles and gave me a WTF is your problem? gesture with his arm as I passed him.
Though they did make a smart move recently by getting rid of the speed restriction for semi trucks, traffic flows much smoother with the trucks doing the same speeds as everyone else.

The CHP has been allowed to "guess" your speed as admissible evidence for a while - but the catch is they actually go through plenty of training. In order to pass, they have to be within 2-3mph after 5 passes.
In other words, they're not going to pull you over until they're damn sure you're driving like a jackass.
