Off-topic Talk Where overpaid, underworked S2000 owners waste the worst part of their days before the drive home. This forum is for general chit chat and discussions not covered by the other off-topic forums.

Oh the madness!

No they will be out for awhile, at least in my area. I talked to people in Gamestop and EB, both said they are so backed up on reserves they won't fill them all until Feb. I'm pist I didn't get one, but I'm not about to pay triple the retail for it. I did get 4 Perfect Dark Zero's lol, too bad I have nothing to play them on.

Lots of 0 and low feedback winners on the $1000+ auctions. Going to be interesting to see how many have to get relisted and possibly miss out on the frenzy because of jackass bidders.

Yesterday they where solidly going for $650-700, but maybe that's just because it hadn't hit the news yet and now parents are starting to sweat about getting it for xmas.

My friend and I managed to get 2 core systems--both of which are on ebay now. Hopefully I'll get to sell them.

Us Canadians are doing the same exact thing.

Gotta love the free market. I think it's awesome that people are capitalizing on other's impatience and selling these things at a 200% markup.

When I said "Americans", I really meant white people. Lord knows most Asians are too cheap to overpay that much and wouldn't bother to wait in the cold either.

Hmm, looks like some of the auctions ending now-ish are in the $600 to $800 range...
