I just got this in email...

That's almost definitely "phishing." Right-click on that link in the original e-mail and select "Properties" to see where the link really leads to.

A formal notice from eBay would also likely spell "appreciate" and "understanding" correctly.

I really think that in some circumstanceses...informations is a word, but not in this case.

I get the same email for Ebay and Paypal about once a week. Its a scam. Ebay and Paypal will never send you unsolicited email asking you for your password or personal information.
