I just use Shout to presoak and then wash. Works everytime.

Who's Jean and how did you get oil on her??

I'd keep this pair as a work pair and then spring for fresher threads to wear around.

I'll second the above reccomendation of brake cleaner with one important statement bolded.

NON-CHLORINATED brake cleaner. Works great on khakis, etc. Not quite as well on jeans, but still does okay.
