ok, so i was wrong about tony blair....
i originally thought he was a lighwieght poll watcher in the mold of slick willie. he has proven to be much more churchillian than i could have imagined. his moral focus in the face of so much opposition has been truly immpressive.
this man has put his position and reputation on the line in order to what he believes is the absolute right thing. very immpressive and rare in a politician here or accross the pond.
just my $.02

He has done the right thing and may have committed political suicide in the process. It is a very rare politician that will put the good of his people and others around the world ahead of his own popularity and success.
unfortunately people over here don't always respect elected officials who do the right thing. they want politicians who vote whichever way the wind blows.
imho, after this event tony blair will forever be respected by the u.s.
god bless him.

The U.K. is in this for as long as it takes.
The French U.N. ambassador is already throwing his hands in the air saying he wants to be involved in rebuilding Iraq and what happens in terms of setting up a government.........what a joker
