i want to fly as much as the next guy in that "what super power do you want" thread. the problem with this, and also with Heroes (NBC series) Nathan Petrelli's flying ability, is that once you go over a hundred miles an hour the air will become impossible to breathe in. once you go over the speed of sound, your skin vs. the air will start to generate the kind of friction that prompted the need for the SR71 to use titanium, and the last time i checked none of us have titanium for skin

this is why teleportation is the coolest power to have

 

I'd go for thought control myself.

Would be more functional than skulking around behind the scenes.
