Does anyone have the full text of this opinion or know where I can obtain it on the Internet? I tried all the places I know, but they all just state that APB #15 has been superseded by FASB Statement 128, and no details are on the APB #15.

Can anyone help please?

Mingster,

You got me too, but if you are going to start another group buy, put down for some of that FASB Statement 128 unless you can some of that superseded APB #15 at a killer price!

that's ok, if you could fax it to me at 310-473-3508 anytime that would be great. i'm doing a report on previous EPS reporting rules, and it's a PAIN IN THE A$$.

i respect you and wanabe more and more every day. i don't know how you could remember all that stuff. i salute you, CPAs!

BTW: for those who don't know what i was talking about: APB # 15 was an accounting standard on EPS (earnings per share) reporting methods, adopted in 1969 (i think). revised many times and finally was superseded by the FASB statement 128 which reduced the complexity of calculating the EPS, and i guess didn't give companies a lot of room to hide bad news. i read somewhere that most companies, after switching to the new reporting rule in 1997, had a huge LOSS instead of gains on their annual report.
