ok, who like hotdogs from hotdog stands?
In New Orleans they have "Lucky Dog" vendors all over the French Quarter. Lucky dogs are great at 3am after drinking all night (I doubt you drink though Saud). You end up paying for eating them in the morning.
On a similar note, one of my friends got mugged in the quarter and the mugger grabbed the lucky dog out of his hand and threw it at him. We used to tease him by saying he got beat down by the lucky dog.

I love those hot dog vendors around here in Calgary that park outside big stores like Walmart or Superstore... for a $1 canadian, you get a massive dog with cheeze sauce and onions... sounds nasty, tastes AWESOME.
Yum, hot dogs from a street vendor...
But here in Rochester, we are supremely spoiled; we have a local twist that I have never seen elsewhere. We have what are called White Hots. The meet is pork, not beef. The flavor is outstanding and the quality of the products going into them is higher than regular red dogs.
