Default One of our own needs our prayers.

Hello,

Although I rarely post here on S2ki, I've been an avid lurker since 2006. Please move this thread to an appropriate section if need be. I'm posting this here so we can band together as an extended family that shares the same passion in cars to pray for one of our own at her time in need.

A moderator of a large import site here in Atlanta (www.importatlanta.com whom is also a proud owner of a NFR AP2) needs our prayers due his wife suffering from a stroke which left her in a coma.

His name is Brett, and his wife is Leisa.

Brett and Leisa are awesome people and would help anyone in need without thinking twice. His wife is an avid poster and in the community is looked at as the mother of several thousand posters. They're inseparable.

All they're asking for are prayers that she will pull through.

Another forum member has set up a paypal to help with the rough financial situation they're going through if anyone would like to help.

The link below will update you on her progress.

Quote below pulled straight from S2000 Atlanta.

Thanks everyone!

Guys, I know I am not here as much as others or as active as others, But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you can pray for my wife Leisa. Wedensday night she had a massive stroke and has been in a coma ever since. I am lost without her. The doctors cant tell me if she will be able to wake up or not, they just dont know. The clot is in a pretty bad part of her brain down at the bottom by her spinal cord, so they cant operate, they have to just hope the clot gets absorbed by the brain and then when it does, they are hoping the brain will allow her to wake up... but again they just dont know. She is my world.... without her... I am lost.

What makes Leisa her is still intact they say, where this is in her brain (The pallace I think is what its called) does not affect memory, who she is, etc) but as can be expected her left side right now has no movement and no responce to touch. They say if she can wake up she would have up to a year of thearapy to try and get that side back up and running.

Its been tough because like most of us we live paycheck to paycheck and my thoughts and worries go back and fourth from her, to what do I do without her working, I have to make sure what we have right now is there for her when she comes home, or she will blame herself and stress out and get back into this sitaution again.... Its hard. I think about the what if she doesnt wake up or if she doesnt make it through this, all these things have me shaken to the core. I have been in this hospital since Wednesday night and will go back to work Monday regardless how she is because I have to bring in the paycheck, so I have to trust these doctors will and are doing everything they can.

She is here at Northside in Sandy Springs, when I called 9-1-1 she was brought to the Northside by our house in Cumming but when she arrived and they took the CR scan and saw she had a stroke, they had her life flighted to this one. She is a fighter, and I hope she has enough in her for the biggest fight of her life..... PLEASE guys pray for her. I may not be able to get on much the next few days (Right now I am in the room and wanted to just beg for prayers) but below is a link on IA that people close to me are updating daily in case I cant do it.

Thanks for the prayers in advance
