Good point! It reminds me of the joke that in order to not look fat, chill with fatter people. People in generally fat states don't really notice that everyone is fat due to habituation. They see it everyday, so they get used to it. They're probably fat themselves. Last I recall, Texas has 3 cities in the top 10 fattest cities in the US.
Because they are cocky...Hell, everywhere you drive in the state of Texas, you'll see someone with a "Don't mess with Texas" bumper sticker. lol I say this living in Texas, though not claiming to be a Texan. lol

You should work in healtcare and then you'd see how bad this is. Obesity is rampant and horrible. It's going to cost you tax dollars as the poor obese diabetics get heart disease and diabetes etc and you have to foot the bill because they are uninsured.
They just pass on their burden to the health care system and expect it to cure everything they have.
So if you butthurts aren't going to educate and bring awareness of their lifestyle, who's going to do it? The government.

turbosix stated a fact, and you got defensive, so honestly, I really don't think Kyushin is even talking about California.
That's why Cali is nicknamed "Commiefornia" for legislation such as this and "San Francisco Values" preached by Ms. Pelosi.
California is such a beatiful state and it does have everything you could ever want in terms of terrain and climate, but damn! Stop with these socialist policies!!! I'm surprised there is such a high obesity rate in LA from what I'm reading on this post. Is it really true? LA's climate is so awesome and so conducive to being outdoors, I don't know why. I'm in Miami, which is as plastic as LA so I'm sure there are a lot of active people in LA, like in Miami, as opposed to other parts of the country where the climate is not as favorable.
