Alex, I am not a pain specialist (ie. I don't treat back pain). I do have back pain though, and sometimes my L3-L4 disc acts up and it really hurts for about a week.

I know your not, Raj... Im just messing around with you

That's funny, cause that the same issue I have. I believe that it
is my L3-L5 though (I could be wrong). After going to the driving range or to play
golf with my coworkers, it usually hurts for about a week or so. Maybe
even more. Just an annoying sore feeling...

Maybe it's just me getting old

I need to get off my ass and see the doc, this has been going on way too long.

Listen to Raj people... he is one of the nicest people on S2ki !
