Default opinions please... let's say...

let's say somebody makes you clean their place.
not friend, nor as a regular job- his office/ place, just for a day.
how much would you charge?
how much does your labor worth?

and please, no silly answers or immature comments.

Dude, 6 an hour is less than min wage.....20 bucks is fair to maybe slightly low.

Wow... i'd say something like 10/hour, unless it's a huge mess or something hard to clean, then maybe 15...

It depends on what you feel your time is worth at that particular activity. Keep in mind that while you're cleaning you can't be doing anything else. I've recently realized (of course, I always knew this - but I became consciously aware) that every hour that goes by is gone forever...

To drive someone's ferrari I would charge $0.00/hour

To clean someone's office I would charge $50.00 - $100.00 per hour, depending on what other activity was being displaced by this task.

I used to have a side-line job (doing the same thing I do for a living) making $35.00/hour ... as I got busier doing other things I raised my rates to $75.00/hour and had less work ... eventually I asked for $120.00 and the work dried up pretty quickly - exactly what I wanted.
