Ordered my first gun...
I thought this was a joke at first, but no, he is actually serious. To be honest it's actually kind of cool. I always feel uncomfortable using spray in areas where people sleep or eat so this might just be something

I think it's rather ingenious. Kind of like these steam mops coming out (or that have been coming out semi-recently).
Taking something readily available and naturally pure, to combat a common and real human problem, without over-complification. No need to extra products/chemicals, aerosols, home space, etc. I love common sense solutions like these.
I see many lawsuits on the horizon....
People getting sand shot under pressure in their eyes!
Animal rights groups suing owners for shooting at their barking dog...
NRA counter sues to protect gun owners rights....
Seems like this will bring in a lot of business for the local attorneys!

This guy's comment tells me he didn't think about it much from the inventors perspective.
"If you only had manufactured it in the US....cool idea though.

Assuming the inventor did everything in America, that he did in China, he may not have gotten this far. At least on his own. If he was set on being sole owner, cost would be high, a lot of people would want stake in the company/patent for their involvement, I could imagine the delay because of funding, etc.. Made in America does not always mean a successful product without loss and stress.
Looking at the market for this product. It is a very creative solution and "fun" way to get rid of a fly. But not every household will buy/need/want. Then the cost of final product start to finish as well as consumer cost. China would be the most profitable for the inventor.
I am certain any investor or marketer would have no problem that it be made in China when they get a decent return anyway.
