I agree. Changes in the fed aren't felt for about 6 months. Mistakes made by Bush may not be felt for 1-2 years. You can't blame Bush for the economy. Much of this started in Clinton's administration. The last president to really effect the economy in a positive way was Regan. We've been riding the benefits of the Regan War Machine for the past ten years.

President Reagan outspent the USSR into Bankruptcy, effectively winning the Cold War. And this was in spite of the Democratic control of the Congress.
