I say send the alligator to the deputy's house and see if he shoots it without a license. If he doesn't already have a license, I'll bet damn sure he would.

Let's see, they gave he a citation, Dick Chaney shoots a fellow hunter in the face, he gets NO freaking citiation. Go figure.

Yeah, that's pretty ridiculous though. "Hunting" and "Protecting Your Family" are covered by different statutes...

Well the aligator had already been kicked out and she shot it.

I think the wildlife officer was just covering her and his asses with the warning, makes it impossible to cite her for illegal discharge of a firearm or some crap like that .

As for the chenny comment bs I'll just roll my eyes

they prob gave him the citatuion beacause if they didnt all the tree hugers and animals lovers would probably hold a strike or some crap like that
