Should I be trying my trackpad since I'm clearly a failure with the mouse? I'm thinking the little trackpoint nub would suck, no speed.

I've been breaking 100 without any loops.

The trick I've found is to try and go over the chimney without any loops. If you are high enough, you avoid it completely with no loops and keep all your momentum.
