Yeah, he was old when I first heard him over 25yrs ago. He sure had an interesting style, kinda sounded like something out of the 40's. Hey when you can work until you're 90...because you want to work, it ain't a bad gig.

Def will miss his commentary. When he was on the air there was actually something poignant and viable to listen to. That's becoming a lost commodity.

That WAS Paul Harvey Jr. The original Paul Harvey passed away when I was a young man many many years ago.

My dad used to listen to him every morning on the way to work. I definitely agree with WarrenW... he sounded like a broadcaster from teh WWII era... which I guess technically he could've been.

I thought he was kind of a shlocky old guy but a very likeable schlocky old guy and definately a radio legend. Sad news.
