I got the same email this morning but after reading through the email decided that it was probably a scam. These guys are just getting better and better, Ill take another look tonight and see where the hyperlinks point and where the email originated from.

I got one yesterday and I have never had a Paypal account in my life. So if it's not a scam, it's managed by idiots. (Although from what I have read on this site about Paypal, they need a good lawsuit)

It's legit. Unless someone has spoofed it already. But there is a real class lawsuit that was filed and they've gone to a settlement. If you qualify, you can get your piece of the action here: https://www.paypal.com/settlement/

I do not belive for a moment that paypal would redirect you to a non-paypal site for any reason AT ALL.
