I am sure the property manager of those retail stores are not liking people creating waste on their lots as they camp out like that, hence some are kicked out I am just surprise all of them are not kicked off the tent sites

Best Buy has a company-wide policy against this. We don't allow anyone to camp out until the night before. Those people will probably be removed soon and will have wasted all their time. I'm sorry, overnight is one thing, but 48+ hours is just being a loser. Don't these people have jobs/school??

the local CC is one out of 6 that will be having it and people started lining up around 2 tuesday night. I was going to if it was possible for me to go wednesday night, but by wednesday morning, all 100 spaces have been filled, plus more..

I wasn't going to waste 48 hours of my life waiting for a ps3. but it does look like fun....

if i was a college student.. yeah, i would do it.

Dude, you know what, I laughed when I saw people doing the same thing last year when the X-Box 360 came out. But when I looked them up on eBay and saw they were selling for 3 times for what they were worth I was shitting myself and was wishing I was out there waiting in line also.

The premium edition of the 360 was sold retail for $399. The same day they were selling like hotcakes on eBay for $1,000+ just because they were so hard to get. I bet the PS3 will go for $1,200 easy.

My buddies are camped out a Best Buy and they are first in line. Although supposedly they got the OK from the BB management. I pre-ordered mine. =)

I camped out from the night before for the Xbox 360. Bought it for $400 turned around and sold it for $1200 the next week. Not bad for 8 hours "work."

I'm thinking of just checking out sam's club or costco on Friday. Hopefully I can just walk in and pickup one and then sell it on craigslist.

What stores do you think will carry the ps3 that most people don't know about? Any thoughts?
