Pet Peeve thread
Ok this came up the other day. I am a big movie guy, got lots of DVD's and blu ray's. Love to share. People at work always are hitting me up to borrow movies.
My pet peeve is people who want to borrow something and never return it. "Hey, You've got a copy of Step Brothers? Can I borrow it? I REALLY want to see that one!" Three months later they still have not watched it.
What is up with some people. If you borrow a tool or appliance or movie, use it and return it promptly.
One guy bugs me to borrow movies, does not watch them and then comes into my office and says "Oh I gotta tell you about this great movie the wife and I watched on HBO last night!" I will ask "Have you watched the one I loaned you three weeks ago?" "Oh, ummmm we are gonna watch it this weekend!" And then he will come in on Monday and tell me he and his wife rented some other movie.
If I borrow something from someone I use it for the purpose I needed and return it. Usually the next day, 99% of the time within the week unless there is a special circumstance.
If you borrow stuff from people have the courtesy to return it promptly. Otherwise you are just douchelike.

I dont even like loaning videogames to my roommate.
It's more about my bad memory than them. I forget I loaned it to them, and they forget to give it back, so I go looking "I'm sure I had this, where is it?"

i hate when you send and Email to someone with, for example, 10questions (i.e., people that work with mortgages or people that work in IT - no offense, really. just my recent experience) and they reply with only 1 or 2 of those questions answered. why even reply?

Second - rude gum chewers. Its either the constanting bubble popping or not being able to chew with their mouth shut. Its not that hard to have halfway decent manners.
