Can any of your cats open the doors? Mine can open a shut door by jumping on the handle, twisting it and eventually getting it open. I've seen it quite a few times. And mine can also do a few tricks. I think my cat is the smartest of all.

Mine can't turn the handle, but they stand on their hind legs and lean on the door to open it. They also stick their paws under the door and pull it toward them to open the door.
I had one cat that would stand on my hands with her hind legs and swat mosquitoes with her front paws and eat them. She was quick and apparently trusted me a lot!

One of my sister's stud dogs, a shepherd, opened doors by biting the handle and turning it. There were teeth marks on all the door handles. She had to ship him by air once and he escaped and was running down the runway at L.A. International Airport. Wish I had a video.
