Pharm. D's
For those who are working as pharmacists:
Is there any advantage to having a Masters degree in biology along with the Pharm. D. degree? When it comes to getting jobs and all that? Keep in mind that I don't care to do any research.
Thanks for any input

masters in biology is useless (reads couldnt get into medschool)
masters in pharma on the otherhand is useful (u can sell drugs w00t! and make 90k starting)
most pharma programs set you up with a job and allowance for students accepted is restricted to keep demand in the job market high.
masters in bio will take anyone willing to keep paying tuition...

I have already been accepted to pharmacy school and will get my Doctorate of Pharmacy 4 years from now (I start in the Fall). I'm currently in the middle of my Masters degree program.
So if I had a Masters and a pharm. D, would that be anymore beneficial (in regards to jobs) than just having a pharm. D? Keeping in mind that I don't care for research jobs. I'm trying to see if it is worth finishing my Masters degree or am I better off dropping it.
having too many degrees will only make you look like a over educated geek with no usefull real world knowledge. i.e. a crack head comes in week after week for a prescription refill and you keep giving it without a second thought.
keep in mind i'm just pulling words and ideas out my azz.
thanks for reading.
