The Golden Deli in San Gabriel is my favorite. I went to my first ever s2ki meet (lunch) there in 01. Been going back ever since.

They have another location with a different name in San Gabriel @ Del Mar and Valley Blvd a lil down the street on Valley from the supermarket. That place is usually less busy and seems a little brighter and cleaner. I agree that their "Bun Thit Nuong" (Vermicelli noodles, veggies, and meat) is pretty much the best you can find. It's on my list of places to eat everytime I'm in CA.
