Phone opinions - thinking of upgrading
So I've currently got a Blackberry 7100i. It's served me well and I've really liked it but it's starting to have some very odd power issues and randomly shuts down for undetermined amounts of time.
So I'm looking into a new phone through Sprint. I like Smartphones and PDA style phones. My 7100i also has GPS Navigation which I've used a ton and I prefer to keep.
I was looking at a MotoQ9c and the BlackBerry 8830 and the descriptions both sound pretty enticing with me leading torwards the MotoQ. I'll probably be heading to the local store to check them out in person tomorrow.
Does anyone have any experience/insight on either of these?

I was in the market for the 8830 just a few months ago, but I got a good deal on an HTC touch. I actually regret not getting the 8830 now, after using my friend's, it's clearly the superior phone. The whole blackberry OS works well [much better than windows mobile] and the phone itself is designed incredibly well. Everything was very streamlined and easy to use, and I've never used a blackberry before in my life. The trackball navigation is better than the scroll wheel on the Q in my opinon. And I'm not sure if this is the phone or carrier, but the 8830 I had picked up reception damn near anywhere, whereas my friend kept saying he loses reception a lot on his Q
I don't have a lot of experience with the Q, so I may be a bit biased. My impressions of the Q are based off of 5 mintues with it, instead of several days with the 8830.

I was planning on sticking with Sprint/Nextel which doesnt have the Curve as an option. Also the Curve doesnt have GPS/Navi which I use all the time on my 7100i.
Spring Curve with GPS.
The AT&T Curve has GPS as well. Using it with Google Maps is the best.
I was referencing the 8830. Very interesting. Sprint's own website doesnt even call it a Curve and some other info I found show that it is supposed to be slightly different than the "real" Curve
