Photo Battle
Hey everyone I don't post much but I could use the power of OT!
I do a lot of wake boarding and it has really shaped my life and helped define me as a person. My photo made it through to semi finals in a photo battle. If you could vote for my photo taken by photographer Matt Roy that would be great! No login or account is needed its a simple anonymous vote.
Thanks!

Thanks everyone! Ive managed to make a small lead keep em coming.
To learn how to get up and carve around all you really need is a small boat or jet ski that has enough hp to get you out of the water and can pull you about 20mph. In order to start doing tricks you will need a boat with a wake. (i started 13 years ago behind a 15ft boston whaler 70 hp). But when you start getting into more technical tricks and you want more hang time really the only way to go is a wakeboard boat. They design the hull of the boat to produce a certain shape wake that really will boost you into the air. These boats are designed to pull a lot of weight (we use ballast to sink the boat deeper in the water, thus displacing more water = bigger wake).
Oh I've taken some brutal falls, hate to say it but its part of the sport it can be rough on the body especially when pushing yourself. And the falls never stop no matter how good you are... if you aren't falling you aren't learning new stuff haha!
Heres a short video of my riding last year. http://vimeo.com/13286152
