I need to buy a Point-and-Shoot camera for my sister-in-law. I would like to keep it under $150.00. I have no idea what to look for and was hoping for a web-site with reviews/recommendations.

Can anybody help out with a link or a recommendation on a camera.

A Canon Elph is always a good choice, if you can find them in your price range, mine was $99 at Ritz Camera a few years ago, but the prices have gone up as features were added.

They are small, light, and have a larger lens than the other cameras in its class. The photographs are stunning, I took a few night shots using a table or ledge as a tripod, and the results were spectacular.

Even their cheapo model would be superior to almost all of the offerings by other makers.
