1996 Eclipse GST



She was a great car in her prime. I sure miss the old blow-off valve release sound. WHOOSHHHH!!!

 

I had the exact same car (year/color/model)... the engine was okay but the build quality sucked BIGTIME. What a piece of junk.... pratically fell apart in the short few months I had it (and unloaded it).

What it really needed was the AWD of the GSX model to put those ponies to the floor in the corners, and even then my friend's modified GSX couldn't stay with the S2000 on Mt. Tamalpias.

That said, I'd still like to test drive a Evo VII when (if) they come stateside.

Yeah they were OZ Corsa 17x8.

Yeah I agree, the build quality was a POS. I had done numerous modifications to it and by the end, the car is shaking and sounded like it was going to fell apart everytime I hit 70+ MPH. And that even after I had it tweaked and tuned by a shop. I considered keeping it but instead I used it as part of my down payment for my S2000.
