PIC - that's a lot of gamers!
At Fragapalooza 2002 in Edmonton, we had 850+ gamers in one convention hall, and with the a/c blasting full strength, we were hitting an average of about 35 Celcius... INSIDE... outside it was approaching 43 Celcius during the hottest heat wave in 2 decades. I have a video if anyone wants to host it

WSB, it actually smelt more like pizza, pop and chips than anything else... people had access to showers, but because everyone was so bloody roasting, I don't think anyone noticed ANY kinds of body odors... but it was intense.. I lost about 10 pounds over 4 days cuz of the heat, and I had my shirt unbuttoned (much to the horror of everyone around me) and was wearing shorts and sandals... and I was still roasting... here's a couple of pics of me at the event:

That sheen you see on my face is that really clingy, clammy sweat... I had just returned from a walk, in the shade, to the Mr Sub down the street.

THis is the pic I entered for the "Hottest Gamer" competition. That is sweat that you see glistening, not reflections. Yes, it was FRICKIN HOT that night.. at NIGHT it was 28 Celcius
Also, btw, both pics were taken on the second day. It's funny when they turn the lights out inside the building, and you start gaming, it's amazing how you lose a sense of time. We started playing a Quake III tournament at 10:00 pm, and by the time we finished (it felt like 2 hours) it was 6 am
I LOVE LANNING!
