Dr Jekyll, are those your own pics? The DAI word on the mountain is not BS. You can see it from the Imperial Palace in Kyoto, although I saw it during the day, so I didn't know it lit up during the night. Looks pretty awesome though.

I just thought how awesome it would be if one of you photoshop wizards placed a spa yellow s2000 in the pic with the all the red. Perhaps to the left of the two trees. That would definitely make it to my desktop. Wow! Great pics!

Wouldn't Tian be heaven? Besides, that would be chinese and this I am assuming is a Japanese Kanji, since the images are said to be from there.

Some of those pictures are from Kyoto. I highly, highly recommend visiting there if you get the chance. It's absolutely awesome.

 

I agree! I did the (self guided) Osaka Castle, Nara Deer, and Kyoto tour in a day. I wish I'd spent more time there!
