You guys were wondering whether the S2000 was going to be limited to two years. It was my guess from day one that they'd have a "collector's item" version of the car, say for example. The convertible. Then they'd switch to another car on the same platform after two years. That way, the "S2000 roadster" would be limited, but the actual vehicle production would not be.
Here's a sedan picture I found, and a coupe picture I painted based on a sketch I found online.

Nice sketch, Dave. I hope the rear window pulls together more like the Aston DB7 coupe or the very similar Jag coupe. That gives the car a nice "broad shouldered" look in the back.

The sedan is pretty sweet. I hope they bump up the engine size though.

Since we're dreaming, I think they would get more return on their Tochigi investment dollars if they simply boosted engine size/output, etc.

Coupes and sedans are interesting, but not compelling.

Personally I don't see a coupe or sedan S2000 happening. I just see the convertible being made as long as there is sufficient demand (4-5 years) then it will go away. Then after about a year or so, I would expect the x-bone technology to be implemented in some new convertible from Honda (but probably badged an Acura in the US).

BTW, That white coupe pic reminds me a lot of my mom's old 1976 Datsun 280Z. Here are some more S2000 coupe pics: http://www.vtec.net/news/items/227.html and http://www.vtec.net/news/items/212.html

Haven't we seen these photoshop renditions before? I hope the stook goes away in a couple of years and becomes as rare as an S600.

I don't get all these photoshopped pictures...why would anyone accept them as being potential production cars if it's just some joe schmoe drawing what he thinks it should be?

It's just people who want a coupe/sedan version of the S2000 dreaming. IMHO it won't ever happen...
