Just out of curiosity, does it hurt a lot to pierce A) nipples and B) eyebrows? I've thought about getting my eyebrows pierced, but have quite an aversion to pain. I've never considered piercing nipples, and am just asking about those out of curiosity. How much do these hurt? The only things I've ever gotten pierced were my ears...but I do have a number of tattoos...do nipples and eyebrows hurt more or less?

I dont have any tattoos, but the difference between an ear piercing (with the gun and the stud) and eybrow/nipple piercing is the needle goes in..................and then comes out. With the gun it just goes through.
Pain?, well the eyebrow hurts twice, when the needle goes in and then when it comes out, but that needle is soooooo sharp it slides right through.
Nipples on the other hand HURT. When I got my single one done, what they do is hold it with tongs and then send the needle through the space in the tongs.
But again its two holes being made. (what really hurts is those tongs, they are squeezing the crap out of your nipple and are on there for like 3 minutes, the needle is a matter of seconds..... oh and they are still squeezing when your already peirced so then the pain is a bastard but its all less then the needle)
The worst part of all this is that the gauge being put in is not as thin as an earing which is like 20 or 22 I think, mine was 16 (18 is normal for starters or parts like an eyebrow)
That said you can squeeze a big needle through, but it wont leave a big (enough) hole for the ring, so the needle is hollow, thats right it doesn't cut through you skin, it CARVES through.
sorry if thats gross but the procedure is just that, gross...
And ruexp67, getting it done again is where the true pain is. I had my first one for about 18 months then off for about 18. Scar tissue formed in the old hole, so the new needle had to go through this. It took about 15 seconds to to that nipple and about 3 for the other one to get done. The women who did it made me sit on my hands just incase I "swung at her" out of natural reaction.
But the best part about the human body, is that it is not capable of remembering pain. You can recall pain and rate it versus other experiences but you cant remember it fully.
That said, nipples hurt about as bad as stubbing you toe............

and losing the toe nail............................
then doing it again on purpose (for the other nipple)!!!!

00Ga lobes, 14Ga eyebrow, 12ga tongue, 14ga lip, 14ga nipple (retired). Getting an industrial and a 12ga septum but right now I am too busy working on designs to complete my biomechanical sleeve for my left arm to finish that one off and a fire themed sleeve for the right.
