just go to ebay and buy a g-mail invite it only cost about $3.00

For those curious, I tried the ebay thing and ended up getting one effortlessly for $2. I think that's a reasonable price to nab a good name. Plus the program itself is pretty amazing. Nicest web-based email i've seen by FAR.

I know it's silly to pay for something that will be free soon, but I think it was worth it to get the name I wanted and it was only $2..
