I am hooked on Wii Tennis!!! Stayed up 'til 2am getting my skill level up to 1600 from 300. The game is fun as hell, but from what I've been reading online, everyone plateaus at 2400 because the computer gets stingy with giving out skill points. Regardless, my arm is dead and I am about to fall asleep at my desk Nintendo FTW!

Anyone else addicted to this little Wii? What other games are you playing? I'd like some recommendations for when Wii Tennis runs its course.

 

i'm killiln bowling. love tennis coz its really playable, but i'd say bowling is my game. i'm already at like 1200 skill points. tinkfist, do you have any other games besides the wiisports? i have wii play as well as wii sports...
if not for the extra wiimote, WIIPLAY IS A WASTE OF MONEY!
also have spiderman 3... its not a great game... really lame and doesnt live up to the hype...
i recently just ordered red steel. i'm looking forward to that.

The first real Wii-designed games won't be out until this fall/winter - a lot of developers wroite off the Wii at first, and are now scrambling to create games for it. A lot of currentgames are ports, and thw wiimote deign is an afterthought to play - wait til the real games come out!

Some greats so far though include Wario, Rayman, Sports, MarioParty... etc

 

I wish I wouldn't have spent my money on Red Steel. Controls are OK for when your moving, but having to ALWAYS point the remote at the screen gets annoying fast. But Wii Sports, Zelda, and WarioWare are all great.

I can't wait until Smash Bros though, even if it doesnt use the Wiimote.

 

I don't understand why you gotta go on here to brag about playing with your wee.

you're absolutely right. i thought the sword fighting thing would be cool. but it was a lot of point and shoot. controls are hard to manage and the screen DOES get annoying FAST! :thumbsdown: its a waste of money but i think the sword fighting thing makes it worth for me. too bad i cant sword fight all the time.

 

saki- i cant wait. i think i'll quit spending money on these games that are out right now.
