I am helping out my sister in buying a 2nd hand car. It is a 1999 Taurus SE with 95,000 miles. I was wondering if any of you guys can run a CarFax report on it.

From the test drive, it looked good but you don't know what's lies beneath right.

Anyways, just wanted to check on you guys.

You can request a carfax in the Car Talk forum. There is a thread for this right at the top of the list.

We were looking for a cheap and kinda reliable ride. At that time, it seemed attractive but we realized that we all had bad feelings about the car. Ergo, we decided to pass it up.

P.S.
Don't trust carfax. I got in a major accident and it took 6 months for it to show up on carfax.

Have someone from a body shop look it over.
