Please help, I just can't stand KaZaA anymore
I don't download much music, maybe a 5 or 6 songs a month, but they're usually newer songs and I've just about had it with the fiasco called KaZaA.
Tonight I went to d/l "Slither" by Velvet Revolver, and if anyone were watching I'm sure they would have just laughed their asses off. I tried to download about 100 of them, out of the 100 or so, 7 worked, 2 were scrambled, 3 were just dead air, and 2 were different songs entirely. I just can't take it anymore.
Please, someone, give me some advice on which d/l program to use.
Thanks
Andrew

I know that Velvet Revolver's CD comes with DRM (Digital Rights Management). I DON'T know if that's got anything to do with why you're having trouble. I would just try to fing a friend with the CD (coworker, neighbor, ex-girlfriend)
I'm going to do a little math.
assume you make $21/hour
let's say you're taxed at 30%
so you bring home $14 for every hour you work.
in other words, you make $1 for every 4 minutes and 17 seconds.
So you go to iTunes (or a similar site)
you buy your song
your cost: $1 or 4 min 17sec of your time.
If you can find a song on Kazaa in 4min 16 seconds or less, you come out ahead.
If not, you come out behind (even if the song is free).
so it's more economical (in some case) to buy the &**%## song)

That's true, but soooo many people mistakenly get paid to do nothing. Supervisors aren't walking around the office making sure you've got something to do. Do you have someone in your cubicle with a stopwatch?
I'm just arguing for the sake of it, I really don't care either way.
I used to use Walmart.com, They even have a free (not to mention friendly) customer service line. The problem is that their songs are protected and are very tricky to transfer between computers.
