People talk ish on cops until their a$$ is on the line, then guess what? They come crying for help.
um

all the cops are going to do if someone points a gun to your head is

-let your family know you're dead
or
-take a police report and send you on your way

depending on whether or not he pulls the trigger. they aren't magically going to appear to save your ass.

This ranting about cops is getting tired and annoying on car forums. It is inherent with the tuner crowd that tends to resent cops because they enforce the traffic laws that we all like to break with modding cars. What many people tend to forget is that their real beef should be with state legislators and C.A.R.B. who create the stupid regulations and laws to start with.

While many might not be dumb enough to get in a cops face or create an intense situation by provoking a response from a police officer, some people are. And those people are a threat and should be tazed.

I have been pulled over many many times for traffic violations, mods, etc. I have never ever had a bad experience. Pull over, windows down take the keys out of the ignition, hands on the wheel. If you simply do that the cop has little reason to worry, and you are giving him no reason to feel threatened. If a cop approaches you anywhere else, keep your hands out of your pocket, speak in a calm manner and listen to the cops instructions. How friggin hard is that people? If you cant do that you seriously deserve to be tazed, and hell beaten too.

The problem with some cops is that they take an Us vs. Them attitude towards "citizens", like there's a war, and we (the citizens) are the enemy. Compound this by the general unwillingness to weed out bad apples. Why do you think a lot of square, law-abiding folks fear and distrust the police?

I knew someone in college who had much hate for black folks. He used to really enjoy watching COPS on TV. His words "I love watching cops brutalize people." Well, guess what? He is now a police officer, no doubt doing what he loves.

What pisses me off is the police union - they should be kciking these guy's asses...but instead they PROTECT them...why? The bad apples are the reasons why cops have a damn hard job. Get rid fo the bad apples, clean up the force, and the general public will respect cops more, which means easier job!
