Porsche question.
Other recent Porsches are the I4 models of 924 and 968 and one of my favorite supercars the 959
The 911 can also be found with a sliding / removable (depending on model) glass roof as a Targa.
I'm still getting my head round the Cayenne

[B]The current line of 911s includes:
Carrera 2, the basic rwd version.
Carrera 4, four-wheel-drive with computer controlled stability goodies.
Convertable versions of the above.
Twin Turbo, also 4wd and with massive hp/torque.
GT3, a 2wd normally aspirated race-oriented version.

Well of course there are several other porsches avaliable.
I own a 914 and a 917
The 914 was really a vw/porsche
the 917 a v12 twin turbo 1400hp monster.
I am a fan of the 550 the 356 and the early 912's
On a side note they were called 901's in the begining. Only 11 made, they are worth a lot of money if you can find on. Another side note pugout (sp) owns any 3 digit number with a 0 in the middle. Really weird HuH
So production models that they made over the whole history.
356
550 (very few)
Abbarth Carrera (very few)
901(7)
911(lots)
912 (up to 72 and once again in 76 for 2000 or so)
914 (250,000 or so)
928 (turbo s 4s avaliable)
944 (Turbo S 4S S2)
There are lots of sub designations S and 4 variance's that can get real confusing.
Any other questions pm me

Whoa whoa whoa whoa! Let's go back to this 917 thing.

Actually, I notice your sig says "replica." It's a kit, no? Care to give more details?
I'm a sucker for the Gulf blue/orange. I was ecstatic when I saw the Audi R8 in those colors this year in ALMS. I don't know if the pic is of the real one or not, but if so I first saw it at the Porsche Parade in Aspen many many years ago and instantly fell in love. That was 1978 and I was four years old. Honestly, that trip is my very earliest memory I'm sure about.

Nitpick - I know of no factory turbo 928. It went 928, 928 S, 928 S4 and 928 GTS. (The last being the ultimate GT car, IMO.)
