I go by my middle name too, Jacob. Well the shortened version of it, Jake. My name was passed down from my father, Oliver Jacob Smith. It seems that the name Oliver has been passed down through generations in my family, but the middle name is new. I'm glad I didn't get the middle name 'Milton' like some of the others Smiths before me.

O'Dell

It's a combination from my two grandfathers (Oscar and Darrell) which means my initials are GOD . My mother has a wicked sense of humor.

David.
My user name is my first name and my middle name. People used to use both when addressing me (anymore you can just call me John) but for some reason I reverted back to the John-David name for my user name. I remember when I first started posting on this board that some people thought that David was my last name... but nope it is my middle name. My last name is a secret.

Actually my last name is a "first name" too. I have three first names.

John David Allen

This is hard for me to believe, but my folks told me, they were there, and sounds good to me.

WAYNE - after John himself. Seems he was popular when I came on the scene. Oh yes, and Gary Cooper was to. My folks must have liked him best - my first name. I must admit Gary Wayne sounds better than Wayne Gary!

Figure this one out. My middle name is "A." that is all there is. I guess my mother and father were tired and thought that would be good enough.

Or, perhaps it was because when I was born, as the story goes.
The doctor spanked me to get me to cry, so then I kid him, he called me and A$$hole and there you have it - A$$hole. So the rumor is the "A." actually stands for A$$hole.
