Vader... Does your dog shed a lot? I fully agree on the blowing the coat thing but typically mine does not leave hair in my s2k or in the house that is as noticable as my friend's German Shepard mix. It may be since the other dog's hair is a lot coarser. We have one of those Dyson pet vacuums and have a fairly large house, it does pick up quite a bit but he is all over the house too. It is not as bad as I would have thought for such a fluffy dog though... I'll revise my statement, he does not shed as bad as I thought he would have .
I am trying to train him not to bark at people he doesn't know and might be making some progress...
They still sound like great dogs, though. I'm sure all the hair would drive my wife nuts, but I usually do the vacuuming anyway. Maybe if I get a puppy I can get him used to being vacuumed
I know what the hair situation can be like. My aunt had an Alaskan Husky/German Shepherd mix, and he shed enough hair to fill a garbage can twice a year. All he had to do was walk within a yard of you and you were suddenly covered in white fuzz. He was an awesome dog though, and loved playing in the snow.
I had a 12g Nano cube set up a few months ago with all sorts of goodies in it. Then we had a 48-hr powerouttage and everything died save one perc clown. So it goes.. Now I just have the brackish water puffer living in the 12g cube. Dont feel like spending the money to start all over again right now.
Nice tanks though guys. I really like the one with all the xenia and hammer coral.
