dood this 2.0 firmware rocks! I love my psp... :love:

 

S'ok, I'd rather run the emulation software on my 1.50 firmware.

i don't regret the 2.0 upgrade.

 

I really dont regret it at all! This web browser is SO worth it, its fast as hell!
I guess if I need my Emulator fix I can always play on my XBOX or PC or Laptop.

Besides I am sure that they will crack 2.0 soon.

 

I don't have a PSP, so I probably don't deserve to know, but can someone give me the rundown about the beef with 2.0?

sony came up with 2.0 to counter all the modding communitoes efforts. they figured out how to run unsigned code ( emulators, etc.) and sony made it so that you cant play the newer games without upgrading to the newest firmware to try and counter this. there are always alternate methods though.

who would have guessed the best use for the psp so far is to play NES games?

Yeah, I got a PSP when they came out, but have hardly touched it since....uhhh...can I go to like a cafe hotspot and use it there? Is it the same as using wireless internet that folks with laptops at coffeeshops do?
