hehehe does anyone notice this, but do the majority of the winners turn out to be older people. As in their 60's 70's!

Since you don't have any smilies there I'll assume you are being serious. If you are, I sincerely apologize for the statement I made above.

That may be true........................... but at least it is voluntary!

Although it does make me cringe when I have witnessed people that perhaps can not really afford it plunk down a twenty dollar bill and make the statement that they now have a twenty times better chance of winning!

Proving "thunderchickens" statement.

I had a dream once that had five numbers in it. The dream was about postage stamps in different values. In the dream I saw 2 cent stamps, three cent stamps, 20 cent stamps, 28 cent stamps, and 33 cents stamps. I played those numbers a few times on a MN lotto game called Gopher 5. I won zero dolllars.

I used to always check the numbers for that game for the heck of it just to see if they ever came up. Last fall they did, three years after the dream. (not claiming to be psychic, it was just a coincidence) The jackpot was $150,000 and there was one other winner. Had I been really superstitious and played them every draw, I would have spent a total of about $300 and won $75,000. Oh well, who needs $$$$$$$
