Prayer Request please..
I'd just like to ask you guys to keep my cousin and I in your prayers.
First off, My cousin Chad is still in comatose after his accident in a Cobra about 4 months ago. His progress is very slow as of now, but nonetheless, he is fairly healthy (he's over his pnuemonea , successfully had his skull flap reattatched) and fighting hard. Of course, he is number one on my list and his recovery is by far more important than a request for my situation.
For me, I am no longer able to follow through with my dream of joining the military. I am almost done with my degree and wanted to join to become an officer. But the health requirements has been updated and those with reccurent spontaneous pnuemothoracies (lung collapses) that occur after surguries can never join. I thought it was 3 years, but apparently that is only if you have had those collapses before and only before surgery. I'm pretty upset because of this and need a little uplifting.
Thanks everyone

i'm really sorry
some people believe everything happens for a reason; perhaps this is your case with the military
any progress is good for your cousin, even slow. the time to heal will be worth it. best wishes to him and your family
